Ray's Combat Kickboxing Haganah Center offers a very unique format of training we base all of our warm up drills off of our Combat Fitness Training System so we are not only teaching you self defense we are getting you into great shape at the same time, that way you will be Fit 2 Fight if you must do so. The format is based off of what we call S.U.B. Modules. We break these down into 3 Main Terms Pre SUBs, Half SUBs & Full SUBs.  Pre SUBs are 15mins of Combat Fitness Drills followed by 45mins of Haganah, Combat Kickboxing, Muay Thai, or Weapons Defense. / Half SUBs are 30mins of Combat Fitness Drills with circuits added and then 30mins of Haganah, Combat Kickboxing, Muay Thai, or Weapons Defense.  The Full SUBs are 1 hour of Combat Fitness training with 12 circuits added that you hit twice with Several variables per station. Everyone loves this type of training and it really lets you know were your real fitness level is at.  Our system of training has a countless variety of training formats which are suitable for beginners to experienced martial artists, but as with any martial arts class the training is physically demanding but the training curriculum is undoubtedly the best way to empower the average person in the shortest amount of time so you will be Fit 2 Fight. The duration of each class is 60 minutes. Your fitness level & fighting skills will improve & you will learn alot about yourself and your abilities. This program is for street defense because we are of a Haganah mindset & no matter what class you come to we teach the Haganah Principles.
  1. 1.  Avoid getting hit. Techniques will always have an element that minimizes the danger of you being hit, especially in your vulnerable areas.
  2. 2.  Don't be fancy. Techniques are simple and do not conflict with natural or instinctive body movements.
  3. 3.  Defend yourself in the quickest, safest and most effective way. Most techniques include both defensive and offensive elements designed to protect you while inflicting maximum possible damage to your opponent to end the conflict quickly.
  4. 4.  Use the opponent’s vulnerable and weak points. Techniques are designed to exploit the many other not so obvious weak points on the human body.
  5. 5.  Don't rely on strength. Techniques are designed to minimize your effort, enabling you to work effectively even when at a size, strength or position disadvantage.
  6. 6.  Use available objects as weapons. The system is designed to teach you to effectively use improvised and ordinary weapons.
  7. 7.  If forced to fight, no rules, no limits. If diplomacy fails, no hesitation, no holding back - anything goes. it's all about survival at that point & I would rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6.
